Memorial Day - Thank You 🙏
As I sit here on Lake Delton writing this newsletter I’m reflecting on the week I had.

I was featured on three podcasts this past week. During one podcast, I shared my story on how I went from not being in the insurance business to having a successful exit within 5 years. Another one, we spoke about networking and how it’s your responsibility to tell the world what you do. More to come on that in a couple of weeks when I break down my eBook Scaling to Success: one of the chapters is about networking. Lastly, I was hosted on a podcast whose focus is on educating agents on how they can be successful in the business.

This year was my first time being asked to be a guest on a podcast and I am finding them to be a lot of fun. A problem I see in this industry is that people think everyone is a competitor and I’m like F### that. You can tell someone how you market and how you take a prospect then turn them into a client but what you’ll notice is 90% of the people you tell won’t do a single thing.

I wrote this eBook to help you scale your business to an 8-figure exit but I know that only 10% of you will actually read it and 10% of the readers will actually follow the process.

That’s alright by me because I’ve already done it.

I didn’t write this eBook to show off and rub it in anyone's face.

I wrote this book to light a fire under your ass and get you moving in the right direction and stop wasting time.

My mentor Mike Brown said this to me before I hired him: “Content should be free, you pay for implementation.” He heard that from his mentor, Dan Martell.

If you follow me on social media, you’ll see how I’m giving you a bunch of nuggets. I just watched a YouTube video and, based on that, I’m changing how I push out my content over the next two months - so stay tuned.

To end my week, I took two new connections out golfing at TPC Wisconsin as this year my goal is to golf every Friday with someone in my network or someone I want in my network. Even though we got rained on and had a delay, that didn’t stop us from making connections. We had a two hour rain delay and, rather than wasting that time on our phones we brainstormed and figured out a way how we can add value to each other.

Not once did anyone say “how can you help me”, it was always “how can I help you.”

Most people in the world are living their lives looking for a handout and looking out for themselves. Today if I meet one of those people they aren’t welcomed in my circle - I had one of those people in my circle and it took me a long time to see it. When I did finally see, unfortunately it was too late but every failure is a learning experience.

I wrote it for you!

I don’t want you to be in the same position you’re in currently a year from now. Don’t say you won’t be if you’re not changing something.

If you do the same activities you have been doing for the past month or even years, then - guess what - you’re going to get the same results.

Chapter 2 - Levering Technology for Growth

In order to grow your book of business to be worth over 10,000,000 dollars, you’ll need to have systems in place that work harder than you do. It blows my mind when I hear agents are still using spreadsheets to track their business as well as using their personal cell phone as their office phone.

If you’re one of those people, go out and get a Client Relationship Manager (CRM) and a phone system. There are phone systems that are able to be added to your phone so you don’t need two phones.

The difference between a $10,000,000 business and a $500,000 business comes down to two things. Structure and Systems, anyone can build an 8-figure business as long as you take the necessary steps to build a foundation and use technology.

When you’re looking to grow your business you need to make sure the technology you have now can handle your vision and that it saves you and your team time. If your technology is requiring double entry, you need to look at replacing it.

Double entry is when you are required to input the same information more than once and that’s going to hurt your business when you’re trying to scale.

I recommend over the next month that you go through all of your systems (CRM, Phone, Email, and any other systems) and see if you’re doing double entry. If you are, look for a new solution to fix that issue before your busy season.

P.S. The-Solution.io is running a memorial weekend deal where you can join for $500 per month instead of $6,000 one-time. Click the link as it expires today! Looking forward to helping you take your business to the next level!
