πŸ‘€ πŸ›© It's time to starting visualizing πŸ‘€ πŸ›©

Happy July 1st

Two weeks ago I played my first ever PGA Pro-Am and let me tell you the nerves I had were like never before. After 18 holes, I realized that I’m a lot better than I give myself credit for. We put so much pressure on ourselves and talk ourselves down on a daily basis.

Our biggest enemy and competitor isn’t anyone else but OURSELVES!

You are in full control of yourself and you need to visualize the positive and not the negative.

During this event, when I let a bad shot or hole get in my head I followed it up with action. The moment I was like β€œI’m going to birdie this hole”, guess what - I hit my 4 iron, 52 degree wedge then one putt. Easy birdie.

The second you put doubt in your mind, it’s going to happen. You need to visualize the good, then good things will happen.

You are in control of your destiny!

Once I had that moment I told myself, never again am I going to let myself have self-doubt.

Last week I was speaking at the NABIP Annual Conference in Chicago. I was scheduled to host a breakout session, my voice coach and I were doing a rehearsal the day before and making sure I delivered a life changing presentation. During our call we were talking about visualization and what to visualize when I’m giving my presentation.

We visualized me presenting on the stage, how to walk around the stage, and how to deliver the presentation. Later that day, I found out I was on the main stage and not just a breakout room.

You need to visualize and believe in yourself that you’re going to do it. Then chase your dream!

Once you start visualizing what you want, then you need to master showing up unapologetically.

This is a newer concept to me as I was challenged by my mentor Mike Brown to show up unapologetically and know the value I’m going to deliver is life changing.

I accepted this challenge like every other and said I will, watch me. It took me to getting out of my own way and visualizing what I’m going to do!

Monday I’m supposed to be speaking on the main stage in front of who knows how many people, could be 5 or 50 I had no idea. I was 1 of 5 breakout sessions and there were roughly 300 people at the conference.

I went back and read my notes from my call with my mentor Mike. I watched my last recording with my voice coach Matt. I worked out longer than I normally do because I was getting myself to a zone I’ve never been before.

Plus I FaceTimed the family while working out.

I needed to get myself to overcome the feeling I’ve created my entire life.

I’m not good enough.

What if I don’t come through.

What if no one shows up.

I changed everyone of those thoughts to:

I am good enough.

What if I over deliver.

What if I have 50 people show up.

I had to reprogram my mind to a way I never have before.

2:45 pm came and I was getting introduced on stage.

45 minutes later, I was done.

Everything I used to program my mind with, none of it was TRUE!

I was good enough.

I delivered a ton of value. Plus, I got 2 clients out of that presentation.

I spoke in front of over 65 people.

Only you can control the thoughts between your ears. Let’s make sure they are positive ones.

P.S. I am opening up my 1-on-1’s to 10 people instead of the original 6. If you have any interest in learning more, make sure you book a discovery call with me. I currently have 5 spots left, these won’t last long!
